TRM golf edges Monroe County for win Monday at CCB

In a five-team golf match Monday at the Country Club of Brewton, the T.R. Miller Tigers edged out Monroe County to get the win.
T.R. Miller scored a team total of 179, edging out Monroe County’s 181. J.U. Blacksher finished in third place with a total score of 211 followed by W.S. Neal with a 223 and Excel with a 236.
Connor Hogan of Monroe County was the medalist of the match with a low round score of 39.
Will Smith led the Tigers of T.R. Miller with a score of 42 and Rob Stokes shot a 44. Mooney Nalty finished with a 45 and Yancey Jernigan rounded out the Tigers with a 48.
Matt Trimmier was the low scorer for W.S. Neal with a 47. Hudson Brown shot a 54 while Jaleel Elliott shot a 56. Joel Migas rounded out the Eagles with a score of 66.
The next match for T.R. Miller and W.S. Neal will be held Monday, April 9, at the Country Club of Brewton.
Escambia County-Atmore will also take part in the match with the Tigers and the Eagles.
