Brewton Yankees cruise to 15-5 win over Indians

The Brewton Yankees defeated the Brewton Indians 15-5 Thursday night to improve their record.
The Yankees allowed only three hits in their win as Blake Jernigan and Logan Bush combined to get the win on the mound.
Jernigan went 2 1/3 innings, allowing three hits, five runs, walked three and struck out four.
Bush went 2/3 innings, and allowed no hits, no runs, walked one and struck out two as the Yankees got the 10-run rule win.
At the plate for the Yankees, J.D. Hartin was 1-for-3 with a single and scored two runs while Bush was 1-for-2 with two runs scored. Jernigan was 2-for-3 with singles and one run scored and Landon Qualls was 2-for-3 with two doubles and scored two runs.
Stone Martin was 2-for-2 with a double and a single and scored two runs and Jaxson Flores was 1-for-2 and scored one run.
Brandon Smith was 1-for-2 and scored one run, Ty Harvell scored two runs and Mac Baxter and Cole Jernigan scored one run each.
For the Indians, Kyle Blevins was 1-for-2 with a single and scored two runs, Whitley Lisenby was 1-for-1 with a single and scored one run, Wyn Brittain was 1-for-1 with a single while Miller Hart and McGowin Bethea also scored one run each.
The Indians used three pitchers in the loss with Hart, Nolan Atkinson and Lisenby all throwing.
Hart went 1/3 of an inning and allowed three hits, four runs, walked one and struck out none.
Atkinson went 1 2/3 innings and allowed five hits, seven runs, walked four and struck out two while Lisenby went one inning allowing two hits, four runs, walked and struck out two.
