The T.R. Miller Tiger golf team saw their season end at their sectional tournament Monday in Montgomery a Lagoon Park.
The Tigers placed seventh out of nine teams with a total score of 368.
Bayside Academy placed first with a score of 310 followed by Montgomery Academy’s 313, LAMP’s 323, Trinity’s 330, Catholics’ 332, Washington County’s 363, T.R. Miller’ 368, Beulah’s 380 and Opp’s 396.
Rob Stokes led T.R. Miller with an 87 followed by Will Smith’s 90, Troy Hart’s 93 and Mooney Nalty’s 98.
“It was a tough, tight, narrow course,” T.R. Miller coach Marc Edge said. “We played well, hit the ball well and had chances to score but didn’t cash in. Putting let us down. We had a good season and a lot of promise for next year. We took another step in year two. Hopefully we will continue to get better.
