Brewton Heat scorches Flomaton 12U 19-9

The Brewton Heat softball 10-run ruled the Flomaton 12U team 19-9 to get a win Thursday night.
The Heat scored 12 runs in the first inning to lead 12-3 and added five in the second to take a 17-4 lead heading into the third inning.
In the third, the Heat plated two more runs while Flomaton added five as the Heat came away with the 10-run win.
Anna Grace White earned the win on the mound going one inning and allowing one hit and walking three. Alexis King and Myra Reiss also pitched. King went one inning and allowed two hits and walked six while striking out two. Reiss went one inning and allowed no hits and walked two.
At the plate for the Heat, who improved to 4-2 this season, was Reiss having two hits and scoring three runs and having three RBIs. White had two hits and scored two runs and have five RBIs while Hannah Lisenby had one hit and scored three runs.
Madison Douglas had one hit and scored two runs and Desiree Lambert had one hit and scored a run. Brionna Dees had one hit and scored two runs while Jessica Southworth had one hit and scored one run.
Alexis King scored three runs and Anna Collins scored one.
