Brewton Angels sweep EB Rangers and Flomaton

The Brewton Cal Ripken Angels picked up two wins in their most recent two games as they took down the East Brewton Rangers and Flomaton.
The Angels defeated the Rangers 4-2 while they shutout Flomaton 14-0 to improve their record.

Angels 4, Rangers 2
In a 4-2 win over the Rangers, Drew Williamson went 3-for-3 with a single, double and a triple for the Angels in the win.
Andrew Etheridge was 1-for-3 with a single and Russell Smith was 1-for-3 with a double.
Daniel Blair was 1-for-3 with a double and Matt Smith was 1-for-2 with a single.
Smith pitched all six innings giving up four hits, struck out 11, and walked none.
For the Rangers of East Brewton, Jacobey Hawthorne was 1-for-3 with a single along with Weston Riddle and P.J. Lovelace.
Matt Hutchins pitched 4 1/3 innings giving up six hits, struck out seven, hit one, and walked two. Hawthorne pitched 2/3 of an inning giving up one hit, struck out two, and walked none.

Angels 14, Flomaton 0
In their 14-0 win over Flomaton Williamson went 2-for-3 with a homerun and a double.
Smith was 3-for-3 with three doubles and Hayden Atkinson was 1-for-3 with a single. Blair was 1-for-3 with a single and Matt Smith was 1-for-1 with a single.
Williamson and Smith combined to pitch a no hitter on the mound. Williamson pitched two innings and allowed no hits, struck out five and walked two. Smith pitched two innings and allowed no hits, struck out two and walked none.
