Team Osburn, Williams take FOM tourney
In their most recent Fishers of Men fishing tournament on Swift Creek in Prattville, the team of Jeremy Osborn and Chad Williams took first place.
A total of 21 boats fished in the tournament with a total of 86 fish weighing in for a total of 188.93 pounds and 17 limits were brought to the scales.
For the team of Osborn and Williams, with Osborn having to miss due to work, Williams caught five fish that weighed 16.56 pounds. The biggest fish weighed 4.03 pounds and was caught on crankbaits, jig and top water.
The second place award went to the team of Mike Presley and Joe Boutin. The duo had five fish that weighed 15.45 pounds and were caught on buzz baits.
The third place award went to the team of Patrick Thrash and Keith Odom. The duo had five fish that weighed 13.64 pounds and they caught their fish on jigs, spinner baits, and crankbaits.
The fourth place finish went to the team of Bobby Cox and James Richerson. They had five fish that weighed 11.96 pounds and they caught their fish flipping plastics.
