The T.R. Miller Lady Tiger volleyball stayed winless in area play Monday after they took a loss in Mobile to No. 2-ranked Cottage Hill.
The Lady Tigers of Brewton lost to the Lady Warriors 3-0 to drop their overall record to 3-5 and their area record to 0-4.
In set one, Cottage Hill defeated T.R. Miller 25-8 and claimed a 25-9 win in set two and in set three to get the victory.
“It was a poor performance,” Lady Tiger head coach Greg White said. “Not the way a team from T.R. Miller should perform. Not at all.”
In JV action Monday at Cottage Hill, T.R. Miller lost 2-0 to fall to 3-5 overall.
No other stats from either game were known as of press time.
T.R. Miller was set to host Pleasant Home Tuesday and will be back in action Thursday at home when they host W.S. Neal.
Game time is set for 4 p.m. with the two middle schools teams playing followed by the JV at 5 p.m. and the varsity teams taking the court at 6 p.m.
