JDCC softball falls to LSU-Eunice

In a Friday home doubleheader against LSU-Eunice, the Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk softball was swept 8-0 in both games.
JDCC lost game one to LSU-Eunice 8-0.
In a conference game last week against Alabama Southern in Monroeville, the Lady Warhawks split to start their conference season off with a 1-1 record.
JDCC lost game one 1-0 after giving up a run in the bottom of the seventh. In game two, JDCC won 5-4.
No stats or information was known as of press time from these three games as well as JDCC’s home doubleheader Saturday against Three Rivers Community College.
JDCC will be back in action Saturday at home when they host Bishop State in a 1 and 3 p.m. conference doubleheader. JDCC is currently 9-20 overall and 1-1 in conference play.

Game two: LSUE 8, JDCC 0
In game two Friday, JDCC lost to LSU-Eunice 8-0.
JDCC was held to only two hits in the loss with Jennifer Fisher and Laura Zeegars both having singles in the loss.
Jessica Swindle was the pitcher of record. Swindle went the first three innings and allowed six hits, six runs, walked and struck out one.
Breanna Hall went the final four innings and allowed three hits, two runs, walked and struck out one.
