WSNMS baseball ends season with split against Excel

In their final two games of the season Friday at home against Excel, the W.S. Neal Middle School Eagle baseball team split with the Panthers. W.S. Neal took game one 2-1, but lost game two 4-0 to finish the season with a 2-9 record.
In game one, W.S. Neal held Excel to one run in the third inning while scoring one of their own in the second and one in the fifth.
Brandon Moye took the win on the mound going the complete game and allowing four hits, two walks and struck out two.
Moye had the lone hit of the game for the Eagles as he had a single in the win.
In game two, Connor Huskey took the loss on the mound as he allowed two hits, six walks, hit one batter and struck out six.
W.S. Neal was again held to only one hit in the game as Kristian Taylor had a single for the Eagles.
