WSN softball falls at Florala
The W.S. Neal Lady Eagle softball team dropped a 7-0 loss to Florala Friday night on the road to fall to 10-9 overall this year.
While being held scoreless in the loss, Florala added two runs each in the third, fourth and fifth innings and scored one in the first to get the win by seven.
At the plate, W.S. Neal was held to only four hits as Kena Ellison and Tori Wyatt both had one hit each and Adria Barnett had two.
Haleigh Dubose was the pitcher of record for the Lady Eagles as she went six innings and allowed six hits, seven runs, walked five and struck out five. Of the seven runs, two were earned as the Lady Eagles made seven errors in the loss.
W.S. Neal will host Bayside Academy Tuesday at 4 p.m. and T.R. Miller Thursday at 4 p.m. in two area games.
