EB Rays win 20-0
Thursday night at the YMCA, the East Brewton Rays improved their record to 3-1 by beating Flomaton Two by a score of 20-0.
The Rays scored two runs in the first and five in the second to build an early 7-0 lead. Then, after a scoreless third, the Rays scored one in the fourth then 12 in the fifth inning to take a 20-0 lead and get the big win.
On the mound, Issac Smith went three innings and allowed no runs, one hit, walked one, and struck out seven. Jordan Crane went the final two innings and allowed two hits, no runs, and struck out six.

EB Phillies defeat Flomaton 10-5
In 12U girls softball Thursday, the Phillies doubled up Flomaton 10-5.
Aleigh Lanier and Caitlyn Hartsel pitched in the win for the Phillies. The duo allowed five runs, two hits, walked five and struck out seven.
At the plate, Ashley Gibson had the only hit of the night for the Phillies.
For Flomaton, Maggie Lane, Lucie Thorpe and Magan Engle all pitched. The trio allowed 10 runs on one hit, walked seven and struck out three.
Kalie Gumapac and Thorpe both had singles in the loss.

Brewton Reds take down EB Braves
In 10U baseball the Brewton Reds came away with a 10-1 win over the EB Braves.
Blake Jernigan earned the win for the Reds as he allowed one run, one hit, walked two and struck out 14.
At the plae, Peyton Rowell, Jernigan, Will Adams and Logan Rowell all had hits in the win.
For the Braves, Samuel Bosarge had the lone hit. Turk Morton and Joran Tolin pitched in the loss.
In other games Thursday, Flomaton defeated the Brewton Tigers 9-4 and the Brewton Marlins edge Flomaton 10-9.
In games Monday night in East Brewton, the softball Dodgers defeated Flomaton Two 16-1 and the Athletics took down Flomaton One 8-2.
In 10U baseball, the EB Braves defeated Flomaton 11-5 while the Brewton Braves lost to Flomaton 9-8.
Due to space limitations, those games will be in a later edition of The Brewton Standard.
No other games from recent action in Brewton and East Brewton were known as of press time Tuesday.
