Cal Ripken baseball and softball games played in EB on April 18 and 22

In recent East Brewton Cal Ripken baseball and softball games played at R.T. Johnson Park, Flomaton’s 12U team along with the Brewton Marlins, EB softball Dodgers, softball Athletics, 10U East Brewton Braves and 10U Flomaton all came away with wins.
Flomaton took down the Brewton Tigers 9-4 while the Brewton Marlins edged out Flomaton 10-9.
The softball Dodgers defeated Flomaton Two 16-1while the Athletics defeated Flomaton One 8-2.
The 10U East Brewton Braves came away with an 11-5 win over Flomaton and Flomaton edged the Brewton Braves 9-8.

Flomaton 9, Brewton Tigers 4
The 12U Flomaton team defeated the Brewton Tigers 9-4 in games last week in East Brewton.
Alex Cash and Jackson Steele pitched in the win. Cash and Steele allowed four runs on five hits, walked three and struck out nine.
At the plate, Evan Tatum, Mitchell Faulk, Dalton Kent, Skylar Busbee, Tyler Merrit and Alex Newton all had hits.
For the Brewton Tigers, Joseph Blackburn and Landon Sims pitched. The duo allowed nine runs, 10 hits, walked none and struck out nine.
At the plate for the Tigers, Joe Blackburn, Donovan Weaver, Austin Green, Hunter Johnson and A.J. Walker all had singles.

Brewton Marlins 10, Flomaton 9
In 10U baseball last week, the Brewton Marlins edged out Flomaton 10-9.
Wyn Brittain and Brandon Coleman pitched for the Marlins in the win and allowed nine runs, six hits, walked six and struck out five.
Brittain had a single and a triple while Kyle Blevins and Ed Dolihite had one single each.
For Flomaton, Zeb Vickery and Blake Mallett pitched in the loss and allowed 10 runs, four hits, walked nine and struck out eight.
Parker Nolan had a single and a triple while Mallett had a single and a double. Jerry Carnley and Vickery had a single each.

EB Dodgers 16, Flomaton Two 1
Madison White allowed one run on one hit, walked four and struck out five in a 16-1 win over Flomaton two Monday night.
At the plate for the Dodgers, Kendall Carpenter, Asia Davis and Gracie Sims all had singles.
Ashley Bradley had the lone hit for Flomaton Two. For Flomaton, Madlyn Rydzowski and Joy Morris pitched and allowed 16 runs, three hits, walked 18 and struck out one.

Athletics 8, Flomaton One 2
In 10U softball Monday, the East Brewton Athletics defeated Flomaton One 8-2.
Makayla Crook led the Athletics with three singles while Ashli Wyatt and Kayla Dixon had one single each.
Wyatt pitched in the win and allowed two runs on two hits, walked none and struck out 15.
For Flomaton, Olivia Egee and Jordan Lefogg had a single each. Heather Knowles was the pitcher of record for Flomaton One and allowed eight runs on five hits, walked seven and struck out nine.

EB Braves 11, Flomaton 5
The East Brewton Braves earned an 11-5 win over Flomaton Monday night.
Samuel Bosarge had two singles and a double in the win for the Braves while Jordan Tolin, Jacob Bondurant, and Evan Hartsell all had hits.
Tolin and Bosarge pitched in the win and allowed five runs, five hits, walked seven and struck out five.
For Flomaton, Hunter Wilson pitched in the loss and allowed 11 runs, eight hits, walked five and struck out six.
Wilson had a triple at the plate in the loss while Rowdy Rutherford had a single and a double. Deyton Moye and Will Rolling had a single each in the loss.

Flomaton 9, Brewton Braves 8
In 10U baseball Monday, Flomaton edged out the Brewton Braves 9-8.
Nick Turner and Zeb Vickery pitched in the win. The duo allowed eight runs, three hits, walked and struck out 10.
Jerry Carnley had a triple in the win while J.T. Spizzaro and Jordan Palmer both singled.
For the Braves, Nolan Atkinson and Jackson Flores pitched in the loss. Atkinson and Flores allowed nine runs, allowed three hits, walked seven and struck out eight.
At the plate, Miller Hart, Kannon Carter and Devin Smith all had singles.
