Mr. Joseph Wayne Cumbie, 71, of New Haven Drive in Cantonment,

Fla., died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 in a Pensacola hospital after a brief illness.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Pensacola. He was of the Pentecostal faith and was a retired security guard.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Lynn Cumbie.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Fort Crawford Cemetery in East Brewton with the Rev. Marvin Reed Jr. officiating. Burial followed in Fort Crawford Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
