JDCC volleyball still winless

In a doubleheader match Thursday at Wallace State-Hanceville and Lawson, the Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk volleyball team took two losses to remain winless this season.
JDCC lost 3-0 to Hanceville and to 3-2 Lawson to fall to 0-6 this year in conference play and 0-7 overall.
Against Hanceville, JDCC lost 25-4, 25-8 and 25-3.
Against Lawson, JDCC won set one 25-23 but fell in set two 25-18.
After losing set three 25-21, JDCC picked up a 25-21 win set four to even the match at 2-2 and force a deciding fifth set. In the fifth set, JDCC lost 15-8.
No other stats or information from the matches were known as of press time.
JDCC is scheduled to play against Snead and Gadsden Friday, September 20 and will finish up their five-game road trip with a game at Mobile on Monday, September 23.
The Lady Warhawks will return home on Thursday, September 26 when they will host Southern Union at 4 p.m.
The Lady Warhawks of Jefferson Davis Community College are under the direction of first-year head coach Allen Gainer.
