NYF sweeps and blanks Baker

In their most recent games, the Neal Youth Football teams traveled to Baker and went 4-0 with all teams posting shutout wins.
The 6U Freshman team defeated Baker 33-0 while the 8U Sophomore team won 6-0. The 10U Junior team won 19-0 while the 12U Seniors won 33-0.
Only stats from there Junior game were known as of press time.
In the Junior game, Samuel Bosarge had 90 yards on nine carries with one touchdown while Jordan Sims had 159 yards on 16 carries with two touchdowns.
Tyler Brooks had three carries for 6 yards, Alex Alverez had one carry for 2 yards and Dustin Godwin had one carry for 4 yards.
W.S. Neal hade 115 penalty yards in the loss while Baker had only 10.
The Junior defense held Baker to only 55 yards and three first downs due to a host of Neal players.
Tackles are as follows: Konner Woods had 10, Samuel Bosarge had seven, Taylor Watson had seven, Tyler Brooks had five, Evan Hartsel had five, Dustin Godwin had four, Jordan Sims had two, Gavin Leggett had two, Dawson Lambeth had two, and Logan Bolling had two.
On the second play of the ballgame Jordan Sims rumbled 59 yards for the first score. After that is was a battle of field position as the Neal juniors didn’t score again until the end of the third quarter when Jordan Sims again ran by two would-be tacklers for a 61-yard touchdown. In the fourth quarterback Samuel Bosarge ran a 22-yard keeper into the end zone to help W.S. Neal get the 19-0 win.
