WSNMS volleyball sweeps McCall

The W.S. Neal Middle School volleyball team was tickled pink Thursday afternoon as they swept the McCall Lady Wolves in a doubleheader to improve to 6-1 this season.
In game one, W.S. Neal defeated McCall 25-7 and 25-22 to improve to 5-1 this season. In game two, W.S. Neal defeated McCall 25-1 and 25-17. W.S. Neal will take on Flomaton Monday at 4 p.m. at W.S. Neal High School.
Game one:
WSNMS 2, McCall 0
In game one, W.S. Neal Middle School took down McCall 2-0.
In set one, Teresa Matthews led with 14 straight service points to end the game with two being aces. Aleigh Lanier had five points in the win.
In set two, Marishia Fraser led with four points, two being aces and one kill. Kayla Ball added five service points to help W.S. Neal to the win.
Game two:
WSNMS 2, McCall 0
In the second game of the day, W.S. Neal finished off McCall with two more 2-0 wins to get the sweep.
In set one, W.S. Neal led 10-0 before McCall scored their only point of the game.
From there, Ball finished with 14 straight service points to end the game. Janiya McCants started the game for W.S. Neal with 10 straight service points.
In set two, Fraser and Caitlin Hartsel both led with five service points each.
