BMS football defeats Monroe County Thursday

The Brewton Middle School football team picked up their second straight win this season Thursday night at home over Monroe County to improve to 2-2. The Tigers of BMS took down Monroe County 22-0.
Brewton held a 6-0 lead over Monroe County in the first half of play when Drew Williamson threw and 18-yard touchdown pass to Michael Campbell.
Brewton took a 14-0 lead in the second half when Williamson threw his second touchdown of the night to Hayden Atkinson on a 12-yard pass.
The third and final score of the game for Brewton came on a 14-yard run by Demarios Luckey. After a successful two-point conversion, Brewton took a 22-0 lead and claimed the win.
Brewton was 6-for-12 passing for 17 yards and ran the ball 30 times for 191 yards.
