Brewton Council of the Arts will kick off its performance series Thursday with a lively performance of several Broadway shows.
The 2013-2014 season begins at 7 p.m. at the Jefferson Davis Community College auditorium with “Back on Broadway.”
The performance promises to be a lively rendition of several Broadway shows from out of the past “The Great White Way” will be honored with some of the classical hits that have played on Broadway.
The show will bring some of the magic that has been a part of some of the most celebrated musicals down through the ages.
The show will consist of 10 actors who will bring to life the most popular scenes and songs from latest Broadway hits including “The Producers,” “Legally Blonde,” “Jersey Boys,” “Mary Poppins,” “Avenue Q,” “Mamma Mia” and “Memphis,” as well as some revivals, “Anything Goes,” “South Pacific,” “Evita,” “Hello Dolly” and many more.
Tickets will be sold at the door will be $15 for adults and $8 for students.
