MAW for business
Tony and Holly Thompson may be new business owners, but they are not new to the business they now own.

The Thompsons are the new owners of Brewton’s Motorcycle Accessory Warehouse located on Lee Street in Brewton.

Working in the motorcycle parts sales and service industry for more than 20 years, Tony has experience that will bring a new opportunity for motorcycle enthusiasts to Brewton.

“I have worked for 22 years in this business and have experience in service and repairs for all kinds of bikes,” Tony said. “I have previously been certified by Yamaha and Harley Davidson to service those brands. But, through the years, I have learned how to provide service and repairs on all makes and models of motorcycles and ATVs.”

Holly will be by her husband’s side in the new venture taking care of paper work, service schedules and parts inventory.

“We had worked together before in this kind of business,” Holly said. “We’re happy to be doing this together as owners.”

Tony said the chance to be an owner in the industry he loves was something he couldn’t pass up.

“I’ve always wanted to do this kind of thing,” Tony said. “When the opportunity came up, I took it.”

MAW, as the business is known, will offer a complete line of parts for all makes and models as well as accessories for motorcycles and ATVs.

“We already have a full line of parts and are adding new things every day,” Tony said. “We want to have what people need and if we don’t have it, we can get it.”

Tony’s service work isn’t his only area of expertise. With experience in building vehicles from the ground up, he knows how to make a bike run.

“I’ve built drag bikes and performance street bikes from the ground up,” Tony said. “It’s something I really enjoy doing. I’m happy to be able to offer service work for bike owners. It’s something I know I’ll enjoy.”

MAW is open for sales and service Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. To find out more, call them at 314-1001.
