WSNMS volleyball splits with ECMS Thursday to end season with a 10-3 record
In their final two matches of the season Thursday in Atmore, the W.S. Neal Middle School Lady Eagle volleyball team split to end their season with a 10-3 record.
In match one against Escambia County Middle School, W.S. Neal lost 2-1. In match two, W.S. Neal won 2-0.
In the match one loss, W.S. Neal defeated Escambia County Middle School 25-23 in set one. Janiya McCants led with eight service points while Marisha Frazer had six.
In set two, ECMS tied the match at 1-1 with a 25-22 win over WSNMS. In the loss, Tori Gillam and Jashira Dees with five service points.
In the tiebreaker set, ECMS defeated WSNMS 15-12 to get the win. Teresa Matthews led with four service points in the loss.
In match two, W.S. Neal defeated ECMS 25-9 in set one and 25-7 in set two.
In the set one win, Frazer led with 10 service points while Ball had seven.
In set two, Taylor Stewart led with seven points while Dees had six.
