TRM girls cross country places first in Pace race while boys take third place

In a midweek race Tuesday afternoon in Pace, the T.R. Miller girls cross country team placed first while the boys took third place.
Katie Nelson took first place for the Lady Tigers with a time of 19:07 while Allie Nelson took second with a time of 20:08.
Christian Carlson finished first for the boys team.
Tarah Townsend finished third for T.R. Miller with a time of 23:56 while Kelsi Lum ran a time of 24:12 for a fourth place finish for T.R. Miller.
Sarah Byrd was the fifth Lady Tiger to come across the line with a time of 25:53 while Kennedy Harp placed sixth with a time of 25:58.
Shelby Evans placed seventh with a time of 26:15 and Auburn Schoonover was eighth with a time of 27:28.
Carmen Knowles ran a time of 29:12 for ninth place while McKenna Gleaton finished 10th with a time of 33:47.
For the boys behind Carlson, Travis Carlson placed second with a time of 20:18 and Dillan Simmons was third with a time of 20:29.
Micah Flores placed fourth with a time of 20:34 while Stewart Campbell was fifth with a time of 22:39.
Placing sixth was Noah Morris with a time of 22:40 and Tucker McDaniel was seventh with a time of 22:41. Nash Diercks took eighth place with a time of 23:07 and Walker Harris was ninth with a time of 23:10.
Gavin McNeil finished 10th with a time of 24:10 while Tanner McDaniel took 11th place with a time of 24:44.
Sam Terry, Noah Winton, Rider Jernigan and Garrett Cave rounded out the Tigers. Terry ran a time of 24:54 followed by Winton’s time of 26:48 and Jernigan’s time of 27:48. Cave finished with a time of 28:47.
