The 2013-2014 T.R. Miller Lady Tiger basketball team will begin their season Monday, Nov. 25 at the Choctawhatchee/Chick-Fil-A Thanksgiving Tournament.
The Lady Tigers will play at 1 p.m. Monday against South Walton. With a win, the Lady Tigers will play Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 4 p.m. against the winner of Niceville and McGill-Toolen. With a loss Monday, the Lady Tigers will play the loser of the same game Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.
Wednesday’s game time for the Lady Tigers will depend on the outcome of the previous two games.
If T.R. Miller plays the Tuesday 4 p.m. game, with a win they will play at 7 p.m. Wednesday. With a loss in the 4 p.m. Tuesday game, they would play at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
If T.R. Miller plays the Tuesday 11:30 a.m. game, with a win they will play at 1 p.m. Wednesday. With a loss in the 11:30 a.m. Tuesday game, they would play at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Other teams in the tournament along with T.R. Miller are: McGill-Toolen, Niceville, South Walton, Sumter Central, Crestview, Daphne, and Choctawhatchee.
T.R. Miller’s roster for this season shows 11 players with no seniors, four juniors, three sophomores, three freshmen, and one eighth grader.
Members of the team include: Tiana Stallworth, Shayn Bradley, Nastarcia Drakeford, Teyana Smith, Ashanti Mitchell, Steely Ruzic, Me’Khia Williams, Destiny Washington, Akilah Brazile, Mykayla Harrison, and Ivory Johnson.
