Brewton’s Christmas parade is still on go for Saturday, despite a forecast of rain for the day.

Organizers with the Brewton Chamber of Commerce said the parade will roll at 2 p.m., unless there is thunder and lightning in the area.

If the parade is called off because of weather, it will be rescheduled for Saturday, Dec. 21. Changes will be announced on the Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page.

The parade will line up in East Brewton on Shoffner Street. It will travel down Forrest Avenue, over the bridge on Mildred Street, to the main intersection at the railroad tracks. It will turn onto St. Joseph Street to Belleville Avenue and will disband on side streets of McLellan, Rankin and Granberry.
