Both the W.S. Neal girls and boys basketball teams will be playing in the 16th annual Red Level Christmas Tournament Thursday, Dec. 26 through Saturday, Dec. 28.
The Eagles of East Brewton will be one of eight teams in the tournament as both the boys and girls tournaments will see Red Level, Andalusia, Elba, Opp, Straughn, Luverne and Georgiana playing in the them.
The W.S. Neal girls will begin their tournament play Thursday at 6 p.m. against Red Level. With a win, the Lady Eagles will play Friday at 6 p.m. against the Opp/Luverne winner. With a loss Thursday, the Lady Eagles will play the Opp/Luverne loser at noon on Friday.
Saturday’s games for the Lady Eagles would be played at 6 p.m. (if they won both Thursday and Friday), 3 p.m. (if they won Thursday, but lost Friday), noon (if they lost Thursday, but won Friday), or 9 a.m. Saturday (if they lost Thursday and Friday).
The W.S. Neal boys will begin their tournament play Thursday at 1:30 p.m. against Straughn. With a win, the Eagles will play Friday at 4:30 p.m. against the Georgiana/Luverne winner. With a loss Thursday, the Eagles will play the Georgiana/Luverne loser at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
Saturday’s games for the Eagles would be played at 7:30 p.m. (if they won both Thursday and Friday), 4:30 p.m. (if they won Thursday, but lost Friday), 1:30 p.m. (if they lost Thursday, but won Friday), or 10:30 a.m. Saturday (if they lost Thursday and Friday).
