The 23rd annual Wild Game Supper will be held Saturday, Feb. 1 at First Baptist Church in Brewton. The meal will begin at 5 p.m. and the program will begin at 6 p.m. The special guest will be Rich Wingo.
“Our speaker this year will be Rich Wingo who played football for the University of Alabama and the Green Bay Packers,” FBC Associate Pastor Chase Clower said. “He was a part of one of the most famous college football plays in history when Alabama played Penn State in Sugar Bowl in 1979. The play in known as the ‘The Goal Line Stand.’ He will share how God transformed his life during his playing days. We hope that through his testimony, many in attendance will be encouraged by how God worked in his life and that God continues to change people and use them. We know that God will be speaking through Rich to transform the lives of those who come. Again this year there will be the Best Wild Game Dish Contest and the Big Buck Contest for individuals to enter and also door prizes.”
