JDCC basketball grabs first conference win Monday night at Alabama Southern

The Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk basketball team picked up their first conference win of the season and ended their six-game losing streak Monday night in Monroeville as they downed Alabama Southern 78-73.
JDCC improved to 3-10 overall and to 1-4 in conference play with the win.
JDCC outscored Alabama Southern 41-36 in the first half to grab a five-point lead at the half.
In the second half, both teams scored 37 points each as JDCC went to get the conference win by five points.
Scorers and other game information were not known as of press time Tuesday.
JDCC will be back in action Thursday at home against LBW. Game time is set for 7 p.m. The game will be a conference game for the Warhawks.
