LBW basketball cruises to win over JDCC

In their next-to-last game Thursday on the road against LBW in Andalusia, the Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk basketball team took a 97-65 loss to the Saints. With the loss JDCC fell to 3-18 overall and to 1-12 in conference play.
JDCC was outscored 44-36 in the first half before being outscored by 24 points—53-29—to take the loss by 32 points.
Leading JDCC in the loss was Christian Jones with 21 points. Chris Oden added 11 and Anthony Bell had 10.
Keaynon Gulley chipped in seven points along with Mikwese Claybourne while JaQuan Threatt added four, Ty Hairston had three and Darren Wilson had two.
JDCC was scheduled to end their regular season Saturday on the road against Faulkner State. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
