TRM golf ties in opener Monday in Monroeville

On a cold, windy day in Monroeville Monday, the T.R. Miller golf team opened their 2014 season with a tie.
Facing off against Washington County, Thomasville, Monroe County, J.U. Blacksher and Excel, the Tigers of T.R. Miller tied Washington County with a total score of 188.
Thomasville took third place with a 199 followed by Monroe County’s 202, J.U. Blacksher’s 208 and Excel’s 215.
Leading the way for T.R. Miller was Will Smith. Smith shot a 40 and was the medalist of the match.
Troy Hart and Yancey Jernigan both shot a 47 for the Tigers followed by Tylan McDonald’s 54.
