Troy’s Shell gets first college win

Another local pitcher playing on the college level picked up his first collegiate win as former W.S. Neal Eagle and current Troy Trojan William Shell earned his first win in relief Sunday.
Shell helped Troy earn a 3-2 win over New Orleans on Sunday at Riddle-Pace Field. Troy improved to 9-7 overall.
Shell (1-1) entered the game in the seventh and pitched three perfect innings, striking out three, to earn the win.
Shell was named Player of the Game.
