TRM softball romps Flomaton to move to 6-2 this season
Ten runs in the fourth inning for the T.R. Miller Lady Tigers softball team propelled them to a 13-2 win over Flomaton Tuesday in Flomaton. With the 11-run win the Lady Tigers improved to 6-2 overall.
Moriah Brundidge helped the Lady Tigers in the win as well as she was the pitcher of record. Brundidge went five innings and allowed three hits, two runs, none earned, walked two and struck out seven.
At the plate, the Lady Tigers pounded out 15 hits with four being doubles.
Steely Ruzic, Mallori Floyd, Taylor Austin, and Brundidge all had two hits each while Krystal Bell was 3-for-4.
Abbi Roberts, Myra Reiss, Jessica Allan and Ali Taylor all had one hit each. Austin, Bell, Brundidge and Allan had the four doubles. Floyd had three RBIs in the win while Bell and Reiss had two each. Austin, Brundidge and Roberts all had one RBI each.
