T.R. Miller’s girls tennis team defeated W.S. Neal 3-1 Thursday in East Brewton while the boys won 4-2.
Boys singles
No. 1 Isaac Watson (WSN) lost 8-0 to Nash Diercks (TRM)
No. 2 Kody Kaufman (WSN) won 8-5 to Stewart Campbell (TRM)
No. 3 Taconious Stallworth (WSN) lost 8-5 to Chris Guthrie (TRM)
No. 4 Jeremyia Mitchell (WSN) won 8-0 to Noah Winton (TRM)
Doubles
No. 1 Watson /Kaufman (WSN) lost 8-5 to Diercks/Campbell (TRM)
No. 2 Mitchell/ Stallworth (WSN) lost 8-0 to Guthrie/ Winton (TRM)
Girls singles
No. 1 Heather Thompson (WSN) lost 8-6 to Kennedy Harp (TRM)
No. 2 Autumn Martin (WSN) lost 8-2 to Bentley Webb (TRM)
No. 3 Summer Ballard (WSN) lost 8-0 to Tori Knapp (TRM)
Doubles
No. 1 Thompson/Martin (WSN) won 9-8 to Lexi Qualls/ Laura Leigh Moore (TRM)
