Another first place for TRM’s track teams in Tuesday’s home meet

In a four-team track meet Tuesday in Brewton at T.R. Miller High School, the host Tigers took big wins in both the boys and girls meets.
In the boys meet, T.R. Miller tallied 127 points to post a first place finish while J.U. Blacksher finished in second place with 52 points. Both W.S. Neal and Monroe County scored 31 points each to tie for third place.
In the girls meet, T.R. Miller scored 143 to take first place. J.U. Blacksher finished in second place with 42 points while W.S. Neal was third with 29 points and Monroe County took fourth with 20 points.
T.R. Miller’s boys took first place in eight of 17 events while W.S. Neal posted first in two events.
For the girls meet, the Lady Tigers posted first place in 14 of the 17 events.
