TRM softball takes down JUB

The T.R. Miller Lady Tigers saw their winning streak grow to five straight wins Tuesday at home as they defeated J.U. Blacksher 9-3. The win improved T.R. Miller to 8-2 overall this season.
Taylor Austin was the winning pitcher for the Lady Tigers as she went seven innings and allowed six hits, three runs, one earned, walked two and struck out three.
At the plate, Moriah Brundidge led the Lady Tigers with a homerun and Myra Reiss added a triple.
Madison Douglas went 2-for-4 while Steely Ruzic was 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Mallori Floyd went 1-for-4 with one RBI and Krystal Bell was 1-for-4. Brundidge went 1-for-4 with two RBIs and Austin added one RBI. Reiss was 1-for-3 with her triple and Ali Taylor went 1-for-3.
