JDCC softball gets two wins in Montgomery

Playing in the ACCC Conference Crossover Friday and Saturday in Montgomery, JDCC’s softball team went 2-3 to see their record go to 10-27 overall.
On Friday, JDCC lost to Gadsden State 8-0 and to Southern Union 11-2.
On Saturday JDCC beat Marion Military 4-0. Kaitlin Hadaway got the win going seven innings with seven strikeouts and allowed four hits. Breanna Hall went 1-for-1 at the plate with two RBIs. Chelsey Ramer had one RBI for JDCC.
In their second game Saturday, JDCC beat Shelton State 6-4. Hall went four innings in the circle to get the win and Hadaway got the save going three innings.
In their final game of the tournament, JDCC lost to Wallace-Hanceville 12-0.
No other stats or game information from the two-day event was known as of press time.
