Brittain’s pitching leads TRM baseball to win over Straughn

In their first game of the Opp Spring Break Tournament Monday against Straughn, T.R. Miller ended their two-game losing streak with a 10-0 win over the Straughn Tigers.
Tiger pitcher Hunter Brittain helped the Tigers to the 10-run mercy rule win in five innings as he pitched a one-hitter to improve the Tigers to 13-5 overall this season.
T.R. Miller led Straughn 2-0 after one inning and 4-0 after two innings. After taking a 5-0 lead in the third inning, the Tigers of T.R. Miller plated four in the fourth inning to increase their lead to 9-0.
T.R. Miller added one more in the bottom of the fifth to get a 10-0 lead and claim the win.
No other stats or game information from Monday was known as of press time.
