Andalusia edges out WSN baseball while TRM gets 10-run ruled by Brantley Tuesday in Opp

W.S. Neal’s baseball team dropped a 4-2 loss to Andalusia Tuesday in the second and final day of the Opp Spring Break tournament. The loss for the Eagles was their second straight Tuesday as they fell to 12-3 overall.
In the loss, Andalusia held W.S. Neal to one run in the first and fifth while scoring one of their own in the first and seventh innings and two in the sixth.
Tyler Joyner took the loss on the mound for W.S. Neal as he went seven innings and allowed seven hits, three walks and struck out eight.
At the plate, Malcolm Hawthorne had a single along with Taylor Elliott. Joyner had two hits and one RBI while Mike Williams had a hit, Dakota Graves had two, Brandon Carmichael had a double, Rob Jones had a hit and Derrick Barton had a hit.

Brantley 15, TRM 5
Tuesday was not a good day for the Tigers of T.R. Miller as they suffered a 15-5 loss to Brantley in six innings. T.R. Miller also went 0-2 on Tuesday and 1-2 overall in the tournament to fall to 13-7 overall this year.
No other stats or information from T.R. Miller’s game with Brantley was known as of press time.
