TRM JV baseball gets first win of year

The T.R. Miller Tiger JV baseball team picked up their first win of the season last Tuesday, but they also picked up their fourth loss as they hosted Opp in a doubleheader.
The JV Tigers won game one 2-1, but took an 11-1 loss in game two to fall to 1-4-1 this season.
In game one, T.R. Miller plated one run each in the second and third innings while holding the Bobcats to one run in the third inning.
At the plate, Stokes Jennings, Russell Smith, Brooks Brown, Joshua Winton, and Alex Daughtery all had one hit each while Jordan Williams had two hits.
Austin Holmes was the winning pitcher for the Tigers of T.R. Miller.
In the second game of the day, T.R. Miller lost to Opp 11-1. T.R. Miller was held to one run in the second inning while Opp scored three in the first inning, six in the fourth, and two in the fifth.
Jake Najor, Holmes and Caleb Winton all had one hit each while Jason Konsler had a double.
