WSN softball falls at Flomaton

Playing in their first game since spring break last Tuesday in Flomaton, W.S. Neal’s Lady Eagle softball team took a 5-1 loss to the Hurricanes. The loss dropped W.S. Neal to 10-8 this season.
W.S. Neal was held to one run in the fifth inning while Flomaton plated one in the second, three in the third and one in the fourth to get the four-run win.
Haleigh Dubose was the pitcher of record for the Lady Eagles as she went six innings and allowed seven hits, five runs, four earned, walked six and struck out six.
At the plate for the Lady Eagles of East Brewton, Tori Wyatt had one RBI while Dubose was 1-for-2.
Christina Robinson and Karissa Johnson both went 2-for-3 at the plate in the loss while Jasmine Crook went 1-for-1.
