The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department has reported activity for the department for the week of April 5 through April 11, 2014. The Department responded to 164 complaints; served 124 civil papers, provided 34 escorts; responded to 10 domestic calls and provided one domestic escort; provided five funeral escorts.

Domestic disturbance on Freemanville Drive, Atmore; burglary on Jacksprings Road, Atmore; Traffic offense on Appleton Road, Brewton.

April 6

Domestic Disturbance on Jacksprings Road, Atmore; Disorderly conduct on Truth Circle, Atmore; Harassment on R.J. Lane, Atmore; Criminal mischief on Charlie Dawson Road, Brewton.

April 7

Theft on Ridgefield Lane, Brewton; Criminal mischief on Old Bratt Road, Atmore.

April 8

Domestic disturbance on Bell Creek Road, Atmore; Theft on Blackburn Lane, Brewton; Domestic violence on Martinville Loop, Atmore; Domestic harassment on Appleton Road, Brewton; Domestic disturbance on Upper Creek Road, Flomaton;

April 9

Burglary on Red Oak Lane, Brewton; Domestic violence on Pea Ridge Road, Brewton; Theft on hwy. 31, Atmore.

The following charges were filed by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department for the week of April 5 through April 11, 2014:

April 5

William Bush, male, 50 of Avenida DeSota, Navarre, Fla., was charged with obstructing governmental operations, DUI, carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.

Jabarie L. Arnold, male, 33, of Monroe Street, Atmore, was charged with violation of probation.

James T. Gray, male, 22, of Forrest Avenue, Brewton, was charged with attempting to elude, reckless endangerment, failure to stop at a stop sign, speeding, reckless driving, no seat belt, driving while licensed revoked.

Jeremy McGhee, male, 34, of Deer Creek Road, Atmore, was charged with failure to appear.

April 6

Samantha Bright, female, 29, of Atmosphere Road, Atmore, was charged with disorderly conduct.

April 7

Willie J. Knight, male, 27, of McRae Street, Atmore, was charged with failure to appear.

Brandon T. Lassiter, male, 39, of Hwy. 97, McDavid, Fla., was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Devin J. Nicholson, male, 22 of Sowell Road, Brewton, was charged with revocation of community correction.

April 8

Doris V. Chase, female, 42, of Heaton Circle, Brewton, was charged with failure to appear and was issued a writ of arrest.

April 9

Stephanie Merchant, female, 31, of Still Farm Road, Atmore, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

April 10

Michael P. Baggett, male, 31 of George Lee Road, Repton, was charged with burglary of an auto, third-degree criminal trespassing; and second-degree theft of property.

April 11

Jackson Crutchfield, male, 19, of Smallwood Lane, Brewton, was charged with third-degree burglary, first-degree theft of property and third-degree theft of property.

 

The East Brewton Police Department has reported activity by officers with the department for the week of April 5 through April 11, 2014 as follows:

Theft of property on Schad Street.

Criminal trespassing at 111 Roadway Street.

Wayne Woodson, male, 52, of Old Atmore Road was charged with second-degree criminal trespassing.

April 6

Tamara Barton, female, 27, of Daulphin Trailer Park, lot 31, was charged with possession of marijuana.

Kristin Armstrong, female, 22, of 114 Mantle Street, was charged with possession of marijuana.

April 10

Jenny Ballard, female, 33, of 705 Shoffner Street, was charged with public intoxication.

April 11

Michelle Rabe, female, 43, 705 Shoffner Street, was charged with resisting arrest.
