With their backs against the wall from the beginning of the tournament, after losing to Opp Friday, the Brewton all-stars continued their winning ways Monday night in Opp.
Brewton found itself on the winning end of two games as the 10U Cal Ripken All-Stars beat Andalusia 6-2 in the loser’s bracket elimination game and Opp 12-2 in four innings in the District 8 Championship earlier tonight.
With its win over Opp, Brewton forced a winner-take-all game Tuesday night at 6 p.m. for the district title.
