The 2014 football season is approaching quickly and The Brewton Standard is gearing up for their annual football preview special section.
This year we are asking for help from the public to help choose the cover for this year’s guide.
Voting will start here in the next few minutes — on Friday, July 11 — and will run through Friday, July 25 at 5 p.m.
A picture of a W.S. Neal helmet and a picture of a T.R. Miller helmet will be placed in a Facebook gallery on the Brewton Standard’s page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Brewton-Standard/73324917142?ref=hl&ref_type=bookmark) here in the next few minutes. Once the gallery is up, community members, fans and students can vote for their favorite team’s helmet by clicking the “like” button on the photo they want to vote for.
Likes for the entire gallery will not count. Comments on the gallery and comments on individual photos will not count. Only “likes” of the photo will be counted as actual votes for a candidate.
The vote will end Friday, July 25 at 5 p.m. and the winning team’s helmet will give the right for the guide to either have a cover containing something to do with W.S. Neal or a cover containing something to do with T.R. Miller.
The winning team will be on the front of the football tab when it is released in August.
