WSNMS and BMS football begin play Thursday along with WSN and TRM volleyball

W.S. Neal Middle School head football coach Chuck Phillips has released his team’s 2014 football schedule.
Phillips and the WSNMS Eagles have seven games scheduled for the upcoming season with three at home and four being away.
W.S. Neal’s schedule will see home and away games against Brewton Middle School, Excel and Monroe County.
W.S. Neal will be on the road again the next week at Monroeville.
Their first home game will be September 11 against Excel and against Monroeville the next week.
The following week, W.S. Neal will travel to Excel before ending their season at home against Brewton on Oct. 2. The last game of the season will be the new game in Atmore.
All games will be played on Thursday nights at 6 p.m.

BMS football
Brewton Middle School’s Tiger team wil begin their season Thursday under head coach Jim Hart.
Hart takes over for Gerald McAnally. The BMS Tigers have six games scheduled for the upcoming season with three at home and three being away.
Brewton’s schedule will see home and away games against W.S. Neal Middle School, Excel and Monroe County.
The Tigers will play their first road game the following week when they will travel to Excel.
Following two home games the next two weeks against Monroe County and Excel, Brewton Middle School will finish with two road games at Monroe County and at W.S. Neal.
All games will be played on Thursday nights at 6 p.m.
The Tigers of BMS will have their 2014 spring training game on Wednesday, Jan. 22. The game is set for 4 p.m. in Brewton.

TRM volleyball
The 2014 T.R. Miller Lady Tiger volleyball team will begin their season Thursday, Aug. 28 on the road at Flomaton.
The 2014 schedule for the Lady Tigers shows 16 varsity games with nine home and seven away.
The Lady Tigers will also play in the annual Escambia County tournament in September at JDCC. T.R. Miller’s other tournament in 2014 will be the Straughn tournament on Sept. 27.
Along with varsity matches, the JV team will play 12 matches with seven away games and five home games. The middle school team will play six games with three on the road and three at home. The middle school and JV teams will also play in a tournament at Bayside Academy on Saturday, Sept. 6.
Area opponents for T.R. Miller in 2014 will be Hillcrest and Opp.

W.S. Neal
Second-year W.S. Neal Lady Eagle head volleyball coach Jason Blaney has released the 2014 volleyball schedule for his team. The Lady Eagles will take to the court for their season opener on Thursday, Aug. 28 when they will host Jay.
The 2014 schedule shows 15 games and two road tournament. Of the 15 games, seven will be home games and eight will be away.
The two tournaments the Lady Eagles will play in in 2014 will be the annual Escambia County Tournament at JDCC on Saturday, Sept. 20 and the Daphne Tournament the following week in Daphne.
W.S. Neal moved up to class 4A this year and will have UMS-Wright and Satsuma in their area.
All home games will be played at W.S. Neal Middle School this season due to construction at W.S. Neal High School.
