WSNMS volleyball picks up seventh straight win to move to 10-2

The W.S. Neal Middle School volleyball team increased their winning streak to seven straight Tuesday as they downed Flomaton 2-0.
WSNMS won set one 25-15 over Flomaton and took a 25-18 win in set two.
In set one, Caitlin Hartsel led with eight service points while Dominique Jackson and Kimberly Stuckey both had four.
Arieyona Collins, Aleigh Lanier, and Tori Gillam all had three each.
In set two, Collins led with 12 service points while Hartsel and Jackson had four each.
Aaleaya Conway and Lanier had two each while Stuckey had one.
Against Escambia County Middle School Monday in East Brewton, WSNMS picked up two wins.
WSNMS won the first match of the day by a score of 2-0 and claimed a 2-1 win in the second game of the doubleheader.
In match one, WSNMS won set one 25-23 and took set two 25-18.
Hartsel, Jackson, and Stuckey all had six service points while Lanier had three. Collins and Gillam had two each.
In the set two win, Hartsel had eight while Lanier had six and Stuckey had four. Conway finished with three points in the win while Jackson had two and Collins and Jada Barton both had one each.
In the second match of the day, WSNMS lost set one 25-22 before winning set two 25-23 and the third set 14-9 to claim the match and the sweep on the day.
Collins led in set one with seven service points in set one while Stuckey and Jackson had five each. Lanier chipped in three service points in the loss. Hartsel had two.
In the set two win, Hartsel and Collins led with eight service points each. Jackson had four in the win while Stuckey and Gillam had two each. Lanier finished with one in the win.
In the third set tiebreaker, Stuckey led with four service points and Collins had three.
Hartsel, Conway, and Lanier both had two while Jackson and Gillam both finished with one.
The wins improved WSNMS to 10-2 this year.
