TRM, WSN volleyball to play at South Regionals Friday in Montgomery

Both T.R. Miller and W.S. Neal’s volleyball teams will travel to Montgomery Friday to play in the South Super Regionals.
TRM, who won the class 3A area 2 tournament over Opp Monday, will play area 8 runner-up Fultondale.
With a win, TRM will get the winner of Indian Springs (area 7 winner) versus Cottage Hill (area 1 runner-up). TRM will play Fultondale at 5:30 p.m. on court four.
WSN, who took the class 4a area 1 tournament runner-up spot to UMS-Wright, will play Montevallo (area 7 winner). With a win, WSN will play the winner of Straughn (area 2 winner) versus Handley (area 8 runner-up). WSN will play Montevallo at 11:30 a.m. on court three.
Only first round games will be played Friday. Second round games will be played on Saturday.
Teams need to win two games at regionals to advance to the Elite 8 Tournament.
Tournament games are single elimination.
