County BOE makes changes

Personnel changes made at the Thursday Escambia County Board of Education meeting included:
• the resignation of Jerry Blackburn, bus driver, Atmore bus shop, effective Oct. 21;
• the transfer of Elizabeth Chaloux, special education teacher aide, Huxford Elementary School, to special education teacher, Escambia County Middle School, effective Nov. 3,
(replacing Heather Higgins).
• to employ the following after-school program personnel: Escambia County Middle School teacher: Sara Shaw, Flomaton High School Teacher; Kimberly Gibson and Terry Levan; W.S. Neal Elementary School Substitute Teacher: Kim Collins Bright
• granted temporary employment status to Faby Jones, community helper, W.S. Neal Elementary School, effective Oct 23 and March 19, 2015 (three hours per day, not to exceed six hours, and as interpreter for parents of EL students during parent-teacher conferences.
