Brewton firemen Dustin Postlewait and Tyler Grissett put the final touches on a fire truck in preparation for Thursday’s Christmas parade. The spirit of Christmas comes alive in downtown Brewton as more than 55 floats covered in Christmas lights make their way through the city. Vendors will have unique handmade gifts for sale at a special nighttime Choo Choo Market and live Christmas music will fill the air. Pig Daddy’s will be set up selling their delicious barbeque. Bring your family and friends and enjoy a special night of Christmas fun. The parade will line up in East Brewton. It will travel down Forrest Avenue, over the bridge on Mildred Street, to the main intersection at the railroad tracks. It will turn onto St. Joseph Street to Belleville Avenue and will disband on side streets of McLellan, Rankin and Granberry streets.
