JDCC baseball to host winter camps

The Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk baseball team and head coach Darrell Blevins will have their Most Valuable Player Winter Baseball Pitching Clinic and Baseball Camp in the coming days.
The pitching clinic will be Mon., Dec. 22 and Tues., Dec. 23 from 9 a.m. until noon. The camp is open for players ages 8 through 18.
The camp will be held at Warhawk field on the campus of JDCC in Brewton and will be $30 per camper if registered before Fri., Dec. 19. A price of $40 will be charged if registered on the day of the camp.
The baseball camp will be Mon., Dec. 29 and Tues., Dec. 30 from 9 a.m. until noon. The camp is open for players ages 6 through 18.
The camp will be held at Warhawk field on the campus of JDCC in Brewton and will be $45 per camper if registered before Fri., Dec. 26. A price of $55 will be charged if registered on the day of the camp.
A holiday special if campers register for both camps by Fri., Dec. 19 will receive a discounted rate of $65.
Day of camp registration will begin at 8:15 a.m.
Campers are to bring a bat, glove, batting gloves, baseball cap, baseball pants or sweat pants, baseball shoes and sneakers.
