In the true spirit of the holidays, Carlisa Inc. will once again offer a free Christmas meal to the public.
“Come celebrate the true spirit of Christmas at our fourth free Christmas holiday dinner at the Hour Glass from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday, Christmas Day, Dec. 25, ” Lisa McMillan, director of Carlisa Inc. said.
The Hourglass is located at 220 St. Joseph Avenue in Brewton.
“I would like to offer a special thanks to Terrance and Becki Breckenridge for donating the use of the Hour Glass for this event as they have done in the past.” McMillan said. “All are welcome to come and join us for the food, fellowship, or other reasons that only you know. We extend our hearts to each of you to come and enjoy a great meal, meet your neighbor, and celebrate this most precious holiday – the birth of Jesus.”
Disabled patrons and those with parties of 10 or more are asked to call in by Tues., Dec. 23, to 251.727.2411 or 251.236.5360 so that the workers may prepare for the larger orders. Delivery service will be provided for those who need it.
Any help that volunteers may provide will be greatly appreciated.
“As we extend our hands in friendship, we ask that you extend your hearts to each other not only on this day, but throughout the year” McMillan said.
All food donations and monetary gifts are used to help fulfill Carlisa’s mission of “feeding the hungry.”
