Chamber sponsoring big buck contest

South Alabama Big Buck Contest, presented by Newbreed Archery and the Greater Brewton Chamber of Commerce, is in full swing.
Tickets to enter one’s big buck are $20.
The biggest buck will be determined by the highest gross Boone and Crockett score.
The deer must be harvested in a county that shares a border with Escambia County, Ala. Florida deer are eligible. Winners of the grand prizes will be required to take a polygraph at the conclusion of the contest to confirm eligibility.
Contact the Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce to a schedule a measurement of the deer.
The random buck drawing will be at the conclusion of the season.
Grand prize includes a hunting trip with IMB Monster Bucks in Pike County, Ill. Second place will get a New Breed Archery Bow and a Yeti Cooler. Third place will get a bow and a Yeti cooler. The youth winner will get a $100 chamber gift certificate for the largest buck under the age of 16.
The random buck winner will get a new hunting rifle while the raffle winner will get a hunting trip with IMB Monster Bucks in Pike County, Ill. The monthly prize winners will get a $50 chamber gift certificate.
