Bishop State drops JDCC basketball

Back in conference play Thursday night at home, the Jefferson Davis Community Warhawk basketball team suffered a 78-65 loss to Bishop State. With the loss, JDCC suffered their sixth straight conference loss to fall to 4-14 overall and to 1-7 in conference play.
The Warhawks were outscored by the Wildcats 33-28 after one half of play and was outscored 45-37 in the second half to suffer the 13-point loss.
In the loss Thursday, Brandon Davis led the Warhawks with a double-double as he finished with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Davis had four offensive rebounds and 12 on defense.
Adrian Rich added 14 points along with Keenan Williams while Fletcher Forte had nine.
Jerry Aaron finished with five points and Ty’Qwan Bonner had three.
Williams led JDCC with five assists, two steals and one block. Davis also had one block in the loss.
JDCC had 11 turnovers in the loss wand was 5-for-9 from the free throw line.
